The GAZOO version of iQ has been under development since 2008.Finally with the right "seasoning", the car was released under the name of "iQ GAZOO Racing tuned by MN".One hundred of this special iQ have been offered at Netz dealers throughout Japan on a limited basis.
This is what Hiromu Naruse, a master test driver at Toyota, has aimed at in developing the "iQ GAZOO Racing tuned by MN" (iQ-GRMN). Apparently, what he has aimed at has been precisely achieved -- the vehicle offers both convenience in everyday use in the city and sporty fun on race tracks. Behind the wheel of iQ-GRMN, anybody can experience the fun and excitement of being a racing driver.
iQ-GRMN is based on iQ 130G. The special version is equipped with a suspension that makes the most of the base vehicle's operational potential, a six-gear manual transmission that makes each gear shifting action a source of pleasure, and a disc brake system on the rear wheels. In addition to the special tuning that increases the driving fun and excitement in all kinds of situations, uniquely designed parts that are provided as standard equipment contribute to the vehicle's sporty atmosphere. An optional GAZOO Racing Style Package will further add to high functionality and cool style.
